Baie Ternay Marine National Park - Located NW Mahé - The unique park is a combination of mangrove trees, rocky and sandy beaches, coral reefs and varied ocean fauna - turtles, catfishes, moray, dolphins and even whale sharks.
Hiking to the hills of Le Niole/ Mare Aux Cochons - This walk requires particularly some physical effort. You should have a pair of good shoes as the trip is on and off the road. Walks will penetrate the deep forest of endemic and exotic plants. Le Niole is at the foot of the highest peak on Mahé - Morne Seychellois. You will discover wild vanilla, variuos palm trees, cinnamon and other spice trees. Sweet water streams run down the mountain from the top of which open the stunning views of the ocean.
Coconut opening demonstration - Come to know more about the nut that grows along the tropic and subtropical countries of the world. It is called the tree of life in some countries. Seychelles is no exception. All parts of the tree are in use - from the roots up to the leaves: to build houses, weave baskets, to make drums, coconut oil, animal feed, toys, medicinal extract and also wine. Snorkelling and Diving - There are a couple of excellent sites for snorkelling not far from the hotel. One of them is Anse Major – a small bay in the northern part of the Mahé Island. You can reach Anse Major by foot hiking through the forest taking about an hour or by taxi from Beau Vallon. Reef Anse Major consists of well-preserved corals where many different fishes are hiding – blue-spotted grouper, the green birdsmouth wrasse, the white-spotted boxfish, or young specimen of several species of moray eels hidden in the crevice.
Full Day discovery tour of Mahé - Begins with a tour of the capital, Victoria, and the picturesque charms of its ancient clock tower and colourful market, while a guide recounts for you the history of the islands. Aſter the market tour they will enchant you with tales of folklore as you journey on to the old Mission Lodge by a winding mountain road. Breathtaking panoramas of rambling tropical vegetation, towering granite peaks and the azure ocean await you there. Taste a delicate Creole lunch prepared from our delicious local fruits and vegetables. Your trip will end in the traditional Craſt Village with an exciting collection of arts, craſts and tropical wares.
National Botanic Gardens, Mahé - This tropical oasis is one of the oldest treasures of the islands, with shady groves of rare palms, colourful native orchids and spice trees. The wildlife includes birds such as the Seychelles blue pigeon, Seychelles Bulbul and giant Aldabra tortoises.
Three Island Discovery - An excellent choice for those who wish to get a little closer with mother nature. This excursion will take you to the breath taking Vallee de Mai on Praslin. The reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to the famous Coco-de-Mer and many endemic fauna species including the Seychelles Black Parrot. You’ll get a unique opportunity to see a traditional copra mill and an old Plantation house at L’Union Estate from the board of a traditional schooner sailing alongside La Digue island. Step foot on the soſt, white sand of Anse Source d’Argent that reputed to be the most photographed beach in the world. The aſternoon is all at your disposal to relax on the beach.
