115 islands in the Indian Ocean make up the Seychelles of which 12 of the islands provide idyllic holiday settings.
Mahé, Praslin & La Digue Islands are the three largest islands. These are known as the Inner Islands and all have a range of accommodation hotels from charming small self-catering establishments through to stunning quality luxurious villa accommodation.
Small, private islands are the jewels in the Seychelles' crown. In most cases the whole island is yours to experience, explore and enjoy. Be active or lethargic, sporty or sedentary, the islands offer Robinson Crusoe ambience within a relaxed and refined lifestyle. The islands are easily accessed by either light aircraft, helicopter or boat. The individual private islands such as Denis, Alphonse and Bird are coralline islands, whilst North, Labriz Silhouette, Cousine and Sainte Anne have majestic granite peaks with a mountainous topography. On all of these small islands you will enjoy total peace, relaxation and be at one with nature.

We all know the problems. A perfectly good holiday can be ruined by hormonal teenage tantrums. “I’m not sleeping in the same room as him (or her)”, “where have you been till this hour?” and so on. We do not claim that the Seychelles is the perfect antidote, but from our experience talking with our clients who have visited the Seychelles “en famille”, is that by the time the kids have swam, snorkelled, cycled, climbed, walked, sailed, collected coconuts, fished, there is very little energy left at the end of the day to do anything but wind down, relax and sleep. Talk to our experienced staff at Seychelles Travel – they will put your mind at rest.
Children love the Seychelles. Hundreds of soft sand beaches and warm clear waters all make Seychelles so much fun for the kids.
Many of the hotels have inter-connecting rooms, good baby-sitting services and child-friendly meals. Both Lemuria Resort, Ephelia Resort and Sainte Anne Resort have kiddies clubs. Talk to our staff who have travelled with their own children to the Seychelles.
Seychelles holidays needn't be just about warm golden sand and warm seas - although that's a big part of the attraction. There's also lots to see and do, whether that's cruising, scuba diving, golf or bird watching.
